This is a sample blog post as I am finding my way around my new website! I really love this photo, and although this block has been carved quite a long time ago, I vividly remember carving it . The drawing has been inspired by Rodney the parrot although Rodney was a blue and gold macaw and this is definitely an african grey!

The carving material is not an actual traditional linoleum but a piece of an old kitchen flooring! Still my favourite carving material.
